Arden earns four finalists nominations: For the upcoming Dog Writers Association of America's annual awards ceremony in New York City, Arden has been named a finalist in four categories. They include finalist for the Eukanuba Canine Health Award for her article, "Your Best Workout Buddy" appearing in Your Dog; best feature in general interest magazine for "24-Hour Party Pooches" appearing in Palm Springs Life; best book under 100 pages for Simple Solutions: Tricks & Games; and Off Lead Award for "Raise Your Bully Breed Right" appearing in Popular Dogs.

Top Cat Award Goes to Arden!: At the 2005 Cat Writers Association's annual conference in Foster City, California, Arden received the President's Award for her role as editor of Catnip, the national monthly magazine published in cooperation with Tufts University's School of Veterinary Medicine. This award is considered the "best of the best" among the nearly 300 entries and 35 category winners. Arden has served as editor of Catnip for three years.
