Arden Moore Arden and Chipper at the international Cat Fanciers Show in northern California
Arden greeted hundreds of veterinarians and other attendees at the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando where she unveiled The Dog Behavior Answer Book – her 15th pet book since 1999.

Bow-WOW! Voted Best Dog Behavior Book: In a competitive category, Arden's The Dog Behavior Answer Book was voted the best dog training/behavior book by the Dog Writers Association of America in February 2008.

Me-WOW! Arden Named Cat Writer of the Year: Arden's role as Catnip editor and as the author of The Cat Behavior Answer Book earned her "Cat Writer of the Year" honors at the 2007 Cat Writers Association's annual conference. The award was sponsored by Friskies. In addition, Arden's book earned top training and behavior honors and Catnip was named the top newsletter.

Arden Speeds and Lands in Jail!: As host of the popular, "Oh Behave!" show on Pet Life Radio.com, Arden recently rode inside a NASCAR race car going 170 miles per hour at the Las Vegas Speedway as part of the "Racing to Save Shelter Pets" program sponsored by Pets Best Insurance. The next day, she did her radio show inside a Nevada state prison where inmates teach good canine behavior to shelter dogs in a program called "Pups on Parole." It would be a crime to miss this show! Arden Hosts Popular Radio Show!: Confused by canines? Frustrated by felines? Perhaps your dog and cat are equally puzzled by your human behavior? Tune in to "Oh Behave!!" the new radio show hosted by Arden on Pet Life Radio. Each week, she invites grrr-eat pet experts on her show with the goal of restoring harmony in pet-loving households.

Arden Joins National Cat Campaign!: As editor of Catnip, Arden attended the historic Catalyst Summit held in February 2008 in Palm Springs. This summit featured nearly 50 top veterinarians, shelter officials, behaviorists, pet product manufacturers and others committed to improving the life and welfare of cats. National Book Tour Extended!: That's right. Arden's successful summer tour that took her from Vermont to San Diego continued with a special holiday tour in 2007 throughout the Southeast. She once again edu-tained audiences with tips from her best selling books, The Cat Behavior Answer Book and The Dog Behavior Answer Book.

Arden's dog welcomed at cat show! Proudly wearing a sweater with the words, "I Love Cats," Chipper accompanied Arden as the canine ambassador for Catnip magazine at the international Cat Fanciers Association show in San Mateo, California. Arden distributed free copies of the magazine to show attendees while Chipper, the first non-service dog ever to earn an invite to this show, wowed the crowd with her cat-loving charm.

Hasbro seek out Arden! This international toy company unveiled Scamps, a fuzzy, cuddly, battery-operated toy dog that can perform up to 20 voice-activated commands. Hasbro hired pet expert Arden to serve as judge and media spokesperson for "America’s Search for the Least Obedient Dog” contest to unveil this new talented toy dog.

Pet pitching to national audiences! Arden was a featured speaker at the 2006 National Association of Professional Pet Sitters Conference in San Diego and the 2006 Humane Society of the United States’ Animal Care Expo in Anaheim.

Arden travels to London! Arden’s skills in writing on the topic of nutrition earned her an invitation to cover the international nutrigenomics conference in London. She was one of six American journalists selected. Her writings on this topic have appeared in many national publications, including Veterinary Practice News and Your Dog.

Arden tours Tufts! Arden recently covered the national conference on genetics and breeding hosted by Tufts University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts. She also spent a few days shadowing leading veterinarians at this prestigious school and will write about their work in upcoming issues of Catnip and Your Dog.
